Large and nice! 8 1/2" Stemmed Knife made from high-grade fine grained basalt with knapped handle that was likely wrapped with leather or rawhide in prehistoric times. Found by John W. Schaff in the 1950s – 1960s in Harney County Oregon. This is a large well flaked artifact.
