4 7/16" Cache Blade made from Coshocton Flint. From the 1898 Holmes County Cache: Lots 332 through 355 are the third of four offerings of a 95 piece Cache of Upper Mercer flint Woodland Blades found together in 1898 in Holmes Co., Ohio. Due to the larger number of blades included, we felt it prudent to divide the sale of this assemblage into 4 parts. The other 3 offerings will follow in future Premiere auctions. This cache was featured in the Ohio Archaeologist Volume 72, Number 1, Winter 2022 (known as the Cache Edition). Previous collectors of this cache were: Karl Parchert, John Parker, Harry Cline, Mark Cline and George Armann. Each Cache Blade comes with a Certificate of Origin designating that it is one of the original 95 blades.
