3 7/16" Cache Blade from the Lyons Cache Indiana. In 1972 3 miles south of the town of Lyons in Washington Twp. Greene County Indiana 191 Adena blades were recovered as a Cache. Initially several blades were visible laying on the surface of a high sand ridge. Digging down to 18” below the surface the remainder of the cache was found. The blades were stacked on-end in multiple rows. This Cache has remained together with the finder’s family for the last 50 years. This is first time these artifacts have been offered to the collecting public. This cache will be offered in three auctions this being the first offering. Comes with a Certificate of Origin and Authenticity.
