3 13/16" Adena Blade from the Lyons Cache found in Greene Co., Indiana.

3 13/16" Adena Blade from the Lyons Cache. The cache was found In 1972 3 miles south of the town of Lyons in Washington Twp. Greene County Indiana. A total of 191 Adena blades were recovered. Initially several blades were visible laying on the surface of a high sand ridge. Digging down to 18” below the surface the remainder of the cache was found. The blades were stacked on-end in multiple rows. This Cache has remained together with the finder’s family for the last 50 years. This is first time these artifacts have been offered to the collecting public. This is the second group from this cache the third and final group will be offered in July 2022.
