Unique! 2 13/16" Zoomorphic Ornament found in Arizona. Ben Stermer on his COA states its a tortoise made from shell found in Arizona. Mogollon culture - circa AD1 - 1200. Another expert stats it is a from effigy made from Laevicardium shell and that frogs were the most often crafted ornament of nearly all prehistoric Pueblo I II III Cultures.
