Rare! 2 1/8" Bird Effigy Pipe made from highly translucent clear and purple Fluorite. Found in Ross Co. Ohio. Unique as the bowl perforation was Reed drilled (like those done on hardstone banners). Indents were intentionally placed on two sides as finger-grips. The ancient crafter utilized a flaw in the material under the beak area to create the hole to insert the pipe stem.
